Hi, I’m Sammy. For approximately 20 years +, I have immersed myself in the world of hairdressing.

My journey began back in 2002 when I joined the ranks of McIntyres a place that has been my creative haven ever since. I believe that’s the year I became a part of this wonderful team. Back then, I was working my way through my second year at Duncan of Jordanstone, where I delved into the realm of printed textiles.

Upon earning my degree a new chapter unfolded, and I stepped into the vibrant world of Hair on a full-time basis. My interest for all things artistic has always fuelled my passion. While I’m versatile in all things to do with hair, my passion for creative cuts and daring colours inspired me to go through my Wella Master Colour Degree.

A pinnacle stand out amongst the rest is winning UK Wella Trendvision Gold Award and representing the UK in New York, an achievement that marked a high point in my career. With my children now immersed in their own school adventures, I feel a drive to venture into more award competitions, and am ready to take on new challenges.

When the spotlight shifts from the salon to more social settings, I have an interest for the mystical and the uncanny. Spiritualism and all things eerie intrigue me.
