Kay McIntyre established the mcIntyres salon group in Dundee, Scotland 25 years ago.
Kay’s trend-setting creative collections won ‘Scottish Hairdresser of the Year‘ three times and is in the British Hairdressing Awards ‘Hall of Fame‘, attracting interest from leading global brands.
Kay is the UK Ambassador for Nioxin, the Worlds No.1 salon brand for thicker fuller hair, Kay educates stylists across the UK and internationally, her range of skills covers precision cutting to creative colouring and achieved Wella Master Colour Award.
Kay enjoys session work but thrives off the dynamic in the salon “I love the diversity of my industry roles and working in the salon with clients”. Kay is a hair loss specialist, experienced in extensions, volumizers and bespoke hair systems.
As Creative Director Kay continues to introduce best practices and new technologies to the sector. Kay is the designated hair stylist in the region giving free hair advice and services to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
