Hi, I’m Gemma!

 

I’ve been part of the hair industry since I was 16.  I went through my full training program with Mcintyres Academy 

Being creative is a big part of my personality and hairdressing allows me to combine this with my passion for inspiring confidence in people.

 

Since starting at McIntyres, I’ve grown in ways beyond words, both personally and professionally. Being part of such an inspiring team has allowed me to take part in some amazing opportunities. I’m a member of the GhD Style Squad, an elite two year mentorship programme that allows me to learn under industry leading professionals. It’s a journey I’m incredibly honoured to be apart of especially travelling all the way to London!

 

I was also a finalist in the 2025 TrendVision Awards, competing in the Xposure Creative Cut & Colour category Being surrounded by so many wonderful and inspiring people was one of the highlights of my experience. 

 

Making the salon an inclusive and judgment-free space is really important to me. Growing up, visiting the salon was one of my favourite things to do, and I want every client to feel that same excitement and comfort .I love all things bold! from statement cuts to vibrant, creative colours and I work hard to bring each unique vision to life!
