Radek Lewandowski has won the Editorial Visionary Award UK at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2026 — the only Scottish salon to take a title on the night.
We are still buzzing. On Monday night, in front of more than 450 hairdressers at Town Hall by Bottaccio in London, our Radek was announced as the Editorial Visionary Award UK winner at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2026.
It is the biggest competition in professional hairdressing, and mcIntyres was the only Scottish salon to win a title on the night.
Anyone who knows Radek knows how long this one has been coming. He has reached the UK & Ireland Final again and again over the past six years, with wins in the Colour Specialist category early on and then three years running as a runner-up. Three times so close. This year he went and got it.
The brief was a tough one. Everything had to come from a single colour family — no contrast to lean on, so the whole look has to be built out of tone and texture. Radek worked in red: a deep, saturated base carried through to brighter scarlet and copper, a heavy full fringe, and long soft waves dressed so that the movement of the hair is what shows you the colour.

And the model? Ola — one of our own clients, from right here in Dundee. No agency booking, no model flown in. A UK title won on a real head of hair, developed in the salon and taken to a London stage.
“I’m absolutely over the moon to win Wella TrendVision. It’s such an amazing opportunity and something I’ve worked really hard towards. I’m so proud to represent McIntyre Hairdressing and incredibly grateful for all the support I’ve had from Kay McIntyre and all the team.” — Radek
“We are all absolutely thrilled for Raddy. Winning the Editorial Visionary Award UK is an incredible achievement and a real testament to his creativity and talent. He has been runner-up for the past three years, and this is a reflection of his dedication. He has represented himself and McIntyre Hairdressing brilliantly, and we couldn’t be prouder of him.” — Kay McIntyre
mcIntyres has been sending stylists to TrendVision finals since 2010, and we have never been prouder of one of them than we are today.
Radek works from our Perth Road salon. If you would like him to look at your colour, you can book an appointment with Radek here.
