John O’Rourke

John O’Rourke is Co-Founder of the mcIntyres salon group in Dundee, Scotland  successfully promoting the brand image winning various design, business, marketing and architectural awards including a coveted British Hairdressing Business Award for best ‘Marketing Initiative’ and twice finalist in ‘Salon Design’ and ‘Retailer of the Year’.

mcIntyres’ interiors won a prestigious ‘Regeneration of Scotland Award’ and a ‘British Civic Trust’ Commendation, the only salon to achieve both and such recognition helped the city’s waterfront regeneration.

John is also Founder of Clash Magazine and 3 times ‘Publisher of The Year’ finalist and winner of ‘Magazine of the Year’ at the PPA Scotland Awards. John was honoured to be chosen as an Ambassador of the ‘City of Dundee’ and is on Scotland’s Digital Media & Creative Industry leadership group.
