The shortlist is out and mcIntyres is making serious noise.
mcIntyres stylists Freya Griffiths, Radek Lewandowski, and Gemma Waters have all been named as finalists in the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2025.
It’s a spotlight on three rising forces in British hairdressing, all coming from one powerhouse team in Dundee.

Freya Griffiths — Finalist, Editorial Look UK
A creative firebrand with an eye for detail, Freya’s been turning heads on the salon floor and now on the competition circuit. Her entry for the Editorial Award is bold, refined and runway-ready — just like her.

Radoslaw Lewandowski — Finalist, Editorial Look UK
Precision meets edge. Radek’s styling fuses technique with raw artistry, and it’s no surprise his work caught the judges’ attention. He’s already known in-salon for high-impact looks — now he’s doing it on a national stage.

Gemma Waters — Finalist, Xposure Award UK & Ireland
Our emerging talent to watch. Gemma’s spot in the Xposure category proves she’s not just ready — she’s here to compete. Passionate, focused and already earning her stripes, this is just the beginning.
These three will now compete in the UK & Ireland Final on 6th October 2025 at the legendary Natural History Museum in London, one of the most prestigious dates in the industry calendar.
“TrendVision is the most competitive hair contest in our industry,” says Max Amen, General Manager at Wella UK & Ireland. “To reach the final is an incredible achievement.”
This year, all eyes are on McIntyres with three finalists ready to take the spotlight. We’re wishing Freya, Radek and Gemma the very best of luck in London, you’ve already made us proud.
