mcIntyres Salons is delighted to welcome back Michael Howie as Creative Director, bringing with him more than 20 years of hairdressing experience and a wealth of knowledge gained during a successful career in London.

Michael is no stranger to mcIntyres. He first worked at the salon after leaving university, having initially studied psychology before deciding that hairdressing was his true calling.

Since then, he has spent 13 years working in some of London’s most renowned salons, building an impressive portfolio that includes competition work, London Fashion Week, editorial shoots, television projects, celebrity styling and influencer collaborations.

Known for creating hair that looks luxurious, fashion-forward and wearable, Michael is a highly skilled cutter, colourist and stylist who enjoys working with all hair types and clients of every gender. He takes particular satisfaction from helping clients transform their look and feel their best.

His return marks an exciting addition to the mcIntyres team, bringing big-city experience and creative expertise back to Dundee.
