Finalists For British Hairdressing Awards 2013 Revealed

The finalists for the 2013 British Hairdressing awards have been revealed following a day of judging where McIntyres own Kay McIntyre was in attendance as current Scottish Hairdresser of the year.

The entrants to fifteen categories, nine regional and six specialist, were cut down to a shortlist of six finalists with a selection of their industry peers, including past BHA winners and Hall Of Fame members, anonymously judging their efforts.

The finalists must now submit four further images to go towards the next round of judging with the winner of each category announced on 25th November at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

The categories include Afro hairdresser of the year, Artistic Team of the year, Avant Garde hairdresser of the year, Men’s Hairdresser of the year, Newcomer of the year, Schwarzkopf Professional British Colour Technician of the year, Eastern hairdresser of the year, London hairdresser of the year, Midlands hairdresser of the year, North Eastern hairdresser of the year, Northern Ireland hairdresser of the year, North Western hairdresser of the year, Scottish hairdresser of the year, Southern hairdresser of the year and Wales & South West hairdresser of the year.

You can find a full list of finalists for each of the categories at the Hairdressers Journal website.
