Kay McIntyre Wins 3rd British Hair Award and enters Hairdressing’s Hall of Fame

On Monday night Kay McIntyre of McIntyres Salons, Dundee, Scotland celebrated as she won her 3rd British Hairdressing Award and enters the hairdressing’s elite ‘Hall of Fame’. Kay earned her place in the history books after scooping the title ‘Scottish Hairdresser of the Year 2012’ at the annual British Hairdressing Awards in London, her third Scottish title.The glittering event was hosted by Comic,Actor David Walliams at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
The fifteen hairdressing award categories are recognised as the most prestigious in the global hairdressing industry, setting the standard for others to follow.Clinching her place in the BHA Hall of Fame her name will sit along side Nicky Clarke and Trevor Sorbie, It also ensures Kay’s status as one of the UK’s leading hairdressers, opening opportunities for her to judge the competition and mentor promising newcomers.
