McIntyres salon Union Street has won ‘Best Interior’ commendation award by the Institute of Architects Design Awards 2009: McIntyres Phase II,
The judges complimented the bold yet seamless design and made particular mention of the range of services over sensitive areas that McIntyres offer. They paid particular note to the semi-private facilities available for clients of a particular faith requirement or customers who prefer discretion through a long term illness such as cancer.
McIntyres Union Street salon has won many accolades over the years including Scottish Hairdrersser of the Year and in architectural merit has achieved a British Civic Trust Commendation and Regeneration Award by the RIAS as well as a special Commendation by Dundee City Council
The salon has created a dedicated colour bar, training academy and additional styling positions,the extension has improved the overall creative platform for the colourists and stylists, we know that clients appreciate the extra dimension and enhances the overall client experience
