Hairstylist Sophie Kinloch from McIntyres salons wins the UK Gold for Creative Artist of the Year at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award UK & Ireland Final 2019Sophie Kinloch from McIntyres salons, Dundee, Scotland has been awarded one of the highest hairdressing accolades in the UK & Ireland winning the UK Gold in the CREATIVE ARTIST OF THE YEAR Category at the Wella Professionals TrendVision Award UK & Ireland Final 2019 on Monday 30 September – one of the world’s most prestigious annual hairdressing competitions.And the winner is…Sophie competed against hundreds of hairdressers from across the UK & Ireland at the Regional Heats earlier this year securing her position at the UK & Ireland Final, held at the famed Roundhouse in London’s Camden. The UK & Ireland Final was hosted by TV star Vernon Kay and hairdressing legend Patrick Cameron. The night included a glitzy drinks reception, exquisite formal dinner and some incredible hair shows. Sophie competed against some of the country’s most talented hairdressers to take home the Wella Professionals UK & Ireland TrendVision Award 2019 UK Gold in the CREATIVE ARTIST OF THE YEAR category.The next step for Sophie s to represent the UK at the International TrendVision Award in Seville, Spain, in March where they will experience a money can’t buy mentoring retreat. Prior to this, She will now receive an inspirational mentoring programme hosted by industry icons, along with a bespoke education package and a photoshoot with a leading industry photographer. “The Wella Professionals TrendVision Award is one of the most respected hair competitions in the world. Our winners should be incredibly proud of themselves because there are many stages to get through and it’s a tough process.
