McIntyres salons head to London UK Hair Award Finals!
After winning through the Scottish finals in Glasgow, Sophie Kinloch and Natasha Cameron, hair stylists at McIntyres salons, Dundee, Scotland are now poised to showcase their creative and colouring hairdressing talents on Monday night, 30th September at Wella’s Trend Vision Awards 2019 at the fashionable Roundhouse venue in Camden, London.Dundee Hair Stylist Natasha WellaTVA2019Sophie at WellaTVA2019 Glasgow Using inspiration from this years trends Sophie and Natasha now go up against top hairdressing talent across the UK, showcasing their models to an esteemed hairdressing industry audience.Sophie representing (Creative Artist, McIntyres, Union Street) and Natasha (Colour Artist, McIntyres, Perth Road) each submitted a photographic entry back in May, then delivered a live model on the Catwalk in Glasgow in August, which won them through to the UK Finals.Kay McIntyre, 3 times ‘Scottish Hairdresser of the Year’ is McIntyres salons owner and is judging at the awards ceremony (although a separate category from Natasha and Sophie) and says “I am delighted for them, its a great competition and experience, they have both worked so hard , it will be very exciting on the night for them both” We are the only salon from Dundee through and have a chance in both Colour and Creative categories, its a huge thrill and you do get that adrenalin buzz especially when involved at this stage” they are both young, excellent, creative stylists and they are a credit to McIntyres salons getting this far. They sourced their models locally, have shown the passion and inspiration necessary to conjure up a great look, its an amazing achievement for them both, its challenging and I’m very, very proud of them both.
