Dundee Stylist Kay McIntyre nominated Scottish Hairdresser of the Year 2010

Kay McIntyre is nominated ‘Scottish Hairdresser of the Year 2010′ by the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards. This is Kay’s 4rth British Hairdressing Award nomination having won this accolade before. The British Hairdressing Awards are considered the highest standard in creative hairdressing throughout the world and is the pinnacle of all the hairdressing awards. Kay decided to enter this year after a few years lay off and is delighted and thrilled to be nominated again, Kay said “I felt we needed a new collection for our own creative purposes and brand identity so we entered the awards and being nominated is always exciting and I look forward to the award ceremony themselves which is always pretty amazing’ .Seven Stylists have shortlist from Scotland to go through to the next round which involves submitting another collection where the winners will be announced at The British Hairdressing Award ceremony on the 22nd November at the Grosvenor House Mayfair, London where the cream of the British hairdressing celebrate along with celebrity stylists and their celebrity clients . Kay adds’ The atmosphere is brilliant its hugely anticipated and each category is announced prior to naming the overall British Hairdresser of the Year’. Kay is the Owner and Creative Director of McIntyres,Dundee, Scotland and has led the team for over 15 years at both Perth Road and Union Street salons.
