Congratulations to Ally Deacon Style Director at McIntyres Dundee, Scotland on winning the National Hairdressing Federation’s Stylist of the Year 2010 prestigious hairdressing award. The competition receives entries from thousands of hair stylists from throughout the UK and consists of submitting a photographic image with hair cut and colour. Ally used local model Kirsty Miller pictured inset, Ally had to attend the award ceremony held in City Stadium in Cardiff. This is a significant achievement and the first time anyone from McIntyres has won this hairdressing award. One disappointing aspect of this was that volcanic ash prevented Ally from travelling and getting back to Dundee to celebrate with his clients and colleagues.
Ally has also won through to the regional finals and is competing in the Wella Trend Vision finals in Glasgow and faces competition from 24 stylists 5 from McIntyres to see who represents the region at the Roundhouse in Camden for another highly regarded hairdressing award
