Taking place this evening, at Glasgow’s Hilton Hotel, mcIntyres salons will be showcasing two of their stylists in the Colour Vision and Runway categories of this year’s Wella Trend Vision awards.
Having collectively ten years of experience between them, Rosie Myles and Radek Lewandowski will be flying the flag for Dundee’s biggest salon. Rosie, who has been with mcIntyres for six years has previously competed successfully in the competition gaining a place in the UK & Ireland finals in 2015. Meanwhile, this is a first-time experience for Radek, who is taking the competition in his stride.
mcIntyres have demonstrated great achievements here in the past having won several places over the twelve previous years which the competition has been running. Now, in its thirteenth-year British Hall of Fame Inductee, Kay McIntyre continues to support Wella Trend Vision, judging all the stages, including the regional heats (out-with Scotland). As well as this, she promotes her staff to take part in competitions; which has already seen junior stylist Leanne Borland get through to the UK finals of Wella Xposure this year.
The day will consist of mentoring for Rosie and Radek before they show their designs to a panel of industry experts. The day will culminate with a live cat walk show in the evening for all to see, including all the mcIntyres’ team, who will be there supporting their colleagues.
Kay McIntyre, commented “this is a great experience for Rosie and Radek. They’ve achieved great things getting to this stage in the completion. We’ll all be there to support them tonight. Good luck to everyone involved!”
The judging will be live this evening, and we will be following up with all the action as it happens.[wps_social_buttons]
