Kay is the CEO and Creative Director of the mcIntyres salons in Perth Road and Union Street. She established her business in Dundee 25 years ago and now heads a highly creative team of award-winning stylists where Kay inspires and educates the hairdressers of the future.
Often described as the hairdresser’s hairdresser, Kay McIntyre is an energetic and passionate stylist with a busy column of clients.

The McIntyres Academy in Dundee offers accredited hairdresser training courses for apprentices and more experienced stylists, with qualifications ranging from Level 1 to Level 3 NVQ.
Students are given unique opportunities to participate in tailor-made programmes, which can vary from business management to informative group sessions. They learn from the best, including Kay McIntyre.
Kay is also involved with the Fellowship for British Hairdressing which focuses on promoting creativity amongst hairdressers and providing support for future hairdressing talent.
